Procedures for obtaining Kimlik card of Turkey

Log in to the website of the Turkish Immigration Department “e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr” to get an appointment. The required document should be submitted too, if you have not submitted the complete documents; you will be given one more month to submit the missing documents.

Following is the required document

• Valid passport and colored copy of it.

• Submission of the residence application form.

• Tax code.

• Four biometric photos, size 6x4.

• Colored copy of the last entry stamp to Turkey.

• Original copy of the House Rent contract.

• A copy of the rent contract sealed from the notary.

• Receipt for the paid fees for “Kimlik” card.

• Health insurance.

1. Report to the Police:

The first thing that should be done is to report it to the police department. In this situation, the process of card reissuance shall start; the period of issuing the “Kimlik” may be short or long.

2. Refer to Nafus Department:

The next step is to refer to the population office near the place of residence to carry out the process there, you must request a copy of your “Kimlik” card or your family’s.

3. Refer to the Immigration Office:

After you register your home address in the Nafus Department, you will be given a delivery confirmation receipt. In the last stage, you should deliver this form to the immigration office staff along with a copy of your passport or family’s and a photo. After the request for the “kimlik” re-issuance is approved; You must pay 72 liras. In this situation, the period of issuing “Kimlik” card is about 1 month.
